EXAMS FOR UNIT 8

• Unit 8
• Oral Production
  Instructions: The will have different options to talk about. 2 minutes minimum.
  – Delivery service companies.
  – The contrast between an on-line retailer and a delivery service company.
  – A future plan / arrangement.
  – Making predictions about global issues: climate change, poverty, global inequality, racism, the energy crisis, economic crisis, population growth or any other.
  – Future trends in the workplace. Is it true that people will be working from their homes in the future? Will people become self-employed in a close future? Will workplaces turn into friendlier and open atmospheres (as Google’s facilities).
  The use of different tenses, the variety of future forms presented in units 8 & 13 and the vocabulary of the unit are to be observed. Students can use any supporting material for their presentations.

• Written Production
  Instructions: Students will have different choices to develop a written composition describing.
  – A plan or prediction for a closer future. If it is a prediction, it can be about a specific firm or about a global issue.
  – Making and responding to a suggestion (which will be given by the teacher)
  The use of different tenses, the variety of future forms presented in units 8 & 13 and the vocabulary of the unit are to be included in the compsition. 100 words minimum.
